Hello garden challengers. Althought i'm a new character here i have managed to magically get a garden all caught up and grown with the others. A big thank you to Erica for that. We share a garden although the sign at the demonstation garden site says my name alone. I was adopted into the storytellers family roughly a week ago. Here's a quick low down on how my plants are doing. My peas have sprouted! They are getting bigger every day, and seem never ending... I also have a lone ranger pea. He sprouted all by himself a little south of pea central... maybe its warmer down there? Also i've been working like crazy trying to keep up the thinning with my carrots. Its pretty cool to see all the little captain carrots growing. Unfortunately the little group of onions that survived a night attack, did not make it. It was said to say good-bye, but with a quick pluck they have been let go. I still have plenty onions still going strong. My merigolds are doing wonderful.. although their neighbors a few boxes down have been slowly going. The romain lettace is looking extra crisp! The brussel sprouts... wow these little guys are growing like mad-hatters! Their brothers and sisters (cauliflower and broccoli) are doing well beside them too! The tomato plant is looking good for being outside we have some little little guys growing. My cucumber is looking a tad sad. I'll be in full force to help him out. He has to pull through. I'll also try to keep all you fellow bloggers updated! So keep an eye out for some new pics, and some new news coming your way soon!
